Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Licensed Psychologist based in Alpharetta, GA with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The responsibilities include conducting psychological evaluations, providing counseling and therapy, interpreting diagnostic tests, and preparing clinical reports. The psychologist with work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop tailored treatment plans and may also provide clinical supervision to support professional growth of other team members. This role is specifically for someone interested in working with children and adolescents ages 5-6 through 18. They should also be interested in conducting therapy with children through ages 15, either virtually or in person.
The Center for Psychological Discovery specializes in providing individualized psychological testing and evaluation to help clients better understand their unique needs and challenges. Through comprehensive assessments, the center identifies specific diagnostic conditions, strengths, and areas of growth which might affect daily functioning. These evaluations guide effect treatment plans and therapeutic interventions tailored to each individual's requirements. Requirements
Proficiency in Psychological Testing and Assessment Practices; Strong Background in Mental Health Diagnosis and Treatment; Doctoral Degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology and a valid GA state license to practice as a Psychologist; Excellent Communication, Organizational, and Interpersonal Skills; Ability to Work as a part of a multidisciplinary team; Familiarity and Openness to work with Diverse Populations and the Ability to Deliver Culturally Sensitive Care
Must be a US Citizen and permitted to work in the US, pass a federal and state background check, and provide references
