Job Title: Behavioral Services Coordinator
Location: On-site - Boston
Position Type: Full-Time
Summary of position:
The Baker Center for Children and Families (also known as Judge Baker Children's Center), promotes the best possible mental health of children and families through the integration of research, intervention, training, and policy.
The Behavioral Services Coordinator is a managerial position within the Behavioral Services Department at the Manville School responsible for consistent application of evidence-based behavioral practices and the supervision of Classroom Behavior Specialists for Manville Elementary School. Primary focuses of the Behavioral Services Coordinator are to oversee the implementation of universal behavioral supports and of advanced tiers of support for students in need of specialized behavioral interventions. The Behavioral Services Coordinator may collaborate with either the Universal Support Team or Individualized Support Team and school-based BCBA to develop and implement small group interventions and behavior support plans designed to strengthen students' school readiness skills. This individual will also provide modeling, coaching, training, and direct crisis management for the Elementary School.

Essential duties:
- In collaboration with other Elementary School managers, provide management and leadership of behavioral services in Manville Elementary School
- Facilitate training and coaching opportunities with classroom teams utilizing a Behavioral Skills Training model
- Supervise Classroom Behavior Specialists
- Supervise Elementary School BCBA
- Oversee the referral process for BCBA supports, related assessments, and behavior support plans
- Attend and actively participate in managerial/administrative meetings
- Oversee/facilitate communication in a timely manner with caregivers regarding significant behavioral events (e.g., physical restraint, suspension, etc.)
- Attend/Co-facilitate all mandatory trainings (e.g., CPI, PBIS, OT, etc.)
- Monitor the entry of behavioral data and completion of incident reports and physical management reports to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
- Attend quarterly student progress meetings to facilitate behavioral updates
- Ensure Elementary School is adhering to PBIS framework
- In collaboration with other managers, support in the daily operations of the Elementary School.
- Attend regular supervision with Assistant Principal and/or Director of Behavioral Services and incorporate their feedback effectively into day-to-day work.
Qualifications
Education:
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
Experience:
- A minimum of one year serving as a supervisor and/or manager.
- 2 or more years working with children.
- Demonstrated capacity for positive leadership. Ability to motivate and supervise effectively.
Training:
- Training in crisis management and verbal de-escalation techniques.

Logistics
License/Certification: Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
