Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology. The Department of Psychology at Georgia State University invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the Assistant and/or Associate Professor level in our Clinical Psychology Graduate Program (https://psychology.gsu.edu/graduate/). Our program has been continuously APA-accredited since 1973 and operates under the scientist-practitioner training model. The positions could begin as early as January 2027.
Area of research specialization within clinical psychology is open. We are interested in collaborative candidates with established and active programs of research that can contribute to and complement program, department, and university strengths (see faculty areas of expertise here: https://psychology.gsu.edu/directory/). We particularly welcome applications from individuals with expertise in assessment, intervention, psychopathology/mental health, and/or social/emotional functioning. We are excited to review applications from candidates who use any of a range of rigorous methodologies and analytic approaches, including those who work with diverse populations across the lifespan and in varied contexts. Strong candidates who can bridge program areas (e.g., clinical-community psychologists, developmental psychopathologists, neuropsychologists) would find a welcome home in our department. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a productive research program, mentor graduate and undergraduate students in research, supervise clinical training, and teach foundational undergraduate and graduate courses, such as assessment and/or psychopathology.

Requirements
A Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in clinical psychology is required at the time of appointment. Competitive candidates will also be licensed or license-eligible as psychologists in Georgia. 2.Applicants should also provide a description of their clinical experience and interests. In this statement, they should identify the requirements for licensure in the state of Georgia (see https://rules.sos.ga.gov/gac/510-2) that they currently meet and/or their plans for completing unmet requirements.
3.A curriculum vitae and up to four representative publications.
4.Names and contact information of three professional references. Letters will be requested for candidates who are invited for a screening interview and should highlight the candidate's expertise and training that make them distinctively qualified for the position.
