Location: Long Island, Westchester, Lower and Upper Hudson Valley
Hours: Part-Time, Fee for Service or Full time Potential
Compensation: $60-$80/hour or $58,500-$80,000/Annually
**Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service type being provided; professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition, the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.**

Responsibilities:
Provide consultative and direct behavioral support within general education and special education classrooms to promote student engagement, regulation, and access to instruction.
Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) in collaboration with school teams according to NYS regulations. Create effective behavior intervention plans and data collection systems to support the BIP.
Collaborate with school teams to implement Behavior Support Plans, Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and IEP/504 accommodations across the instructional day.
Support students with moderate to severe behavioral needs through proactive, evidence-based strategies that build communication, social, academic, and daily-living skills.
Collect and/or train and support accurate, ongoing data on target behaviors, skill acquisition, prompting levels, and student engagement, and use data to inform instructional and behavioral decisions through hands-on training and in-the-moment feedback.
Assist with and support classroom routines including arrival/dismissal, transitions, centers, morning meeting, specials, lunch, and unstructured times.
Communicate professionally and effectively with teachers, related service providers, administrators, families, and agency supervisors while adhering to district policies and ethical standards.
Maintain confidentiality of student and family information in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
Participate in supervision, professional development, and collaborative team meetings to support continued growth in school-based practice.
