Licensed Mental Health Clinician - Maryland School Based
Location: Prince George's County, Maryland (Upper Marlboro, Hyattsville, Bowie & surrounding communities) & Fredrick County, MD school system.
Direct Hire - 1 year contract - Contracts can be renewed on a yearly basis
Interdynamics, Inc. is a well-established behavioral health organization delivering outpatient and school-based mental health services across Prince George's County, MD & Fredrick County, MD. We are seeking a licensed clinician to provide comprehensive behavioral health support within local school communities.
This role offers the opportunity to work directly with students, families, and educators in one of Maryland's most dynamic and culturally diverse counties - where the impact is real, immediate, and measurable.
Qualifications -
Active Maryland licensure in good standing (LCSW-C, LCPC, LGPC. LCP, or Psy.D.)
Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
Professional liability insurance
Ability to successfully complete:
Maryland & FBI Criminal Background Check
Maryland Child Abuse Registry clearance
School-based or youth-focused clinical experience strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities (School-Based - Prince George's County & Fredrick County, MD)
Provide individual and group counseling to students
Conduct teacher consultations and classroom-based behavioral interventions
Perform classroom observations and functional behavioral assessments (FBA)
Deliver crisis intervention services for students, staff, and families
Facilitate trainings and workshops for educators, families, and school staff
Collaborate with school administrators, psychologists, counselors, and multidisciplinary teams
Support family engagement and coordinate referrals with community agencies throughout PG County
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
Meet weekly with Interdynamics Clinical Supervisor for case consultation and support
Requirements
Qualifications:
Licensure & Education
Active Maryland licensure in good standing (LCSW-C, LCPC, LGPC, LCP, or Psy.D.)
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
