Description
Atlanta CBT is a psychologist owned, private, out-of-network cognitive behavioral specialty practice. Atlanta CBT is seeking an independent licensed child psychologist to join our dynamic team of independent contractors. This is a flexible 1099 contract position.
Candidates who are interested in very part time work and more are invited to apply.
We offer flexible, rewarding work opportunities, both in-person and via telehealth, for independent professionals who value autonomy, clinical excellence, and growth.
We offer excellent pay, well above market rates. Pay is determined as a split and paid weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use evidence-based treatment modalities to help children, teens, and parents address anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders/problems (e.g., body focused repetitive behaviors, body dysmorphia, PANS/PANDAS, tics, avoidant/restrictive food intake), and disruptive behaviors.
- Offer services in either a hybrid format (in-person and telehealth) or exclusively in-person at our beautiful Inman Park office, on the Beltline.
- We have a specific need for an independent licensed psychologist who works with children and or teens and parents who could see patients in the office during after school hours and or on weekends.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Fully licensed as a psychologist in Georgia.
- Expertise in CBT and demonstrated ability to conduct evidence-based therapy to help children and or teens with anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive and related disorders/problems (e.g., body focused repetitive behaviors, body dysmorphia, PANS/PANDAS, tics, avoidant/restrictive food intake).
- Evidence of extensive training in relevant evidence-based therapies (exposure-based therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy, parent training for children/teens with anxiety).
- Evidence of on-going professional development and involvement in relevant professional groups consistent with staying current in new developments and advancement in the field.
- Exceptional generalist clinical skills with experience in child and teen psychology.
- Commitment to culturally-informed and inclusive clinical work.
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and telehealth technology.
- Ongoing professional development and engagement in psychological science and practice.
- High ethical standards and excellent customer service skills.
- Willingness to manage fluctuating caseloads.
- It is preferable, but not required, that candidates have experience working in an outpatient private practice setting.
- This position best suits a professional psychologist who values autonomy and who wishes to work on flexible terms with access to a team of colleagues.
- Psychologists who enjoy primary employment or other contract positions, and who are interested in part time contract work with us, are invited to apply. We welcome moonlighters! However, the position would not suit a psychologist who is paneled with Medicaid or Medicare elsewhere as this presents administrative complications in an out of network practice.
